It took more than technology for the creation of the Internet
It took creativity by this Inventor
Welcome to true Internet History and Internet Timelines

On these Blog pages you will see some commentary of recent events in technology but more importantly you will have the opportunity to take a walk down memory lane for those of you old enough to remember when phones were usually those little black things that rang or later on were fancy looking princess line phones in different shades of pastels , blue , green , yellow , pink , etc. With the overload of information today , some of it often unpleasant you may welcome a change of pace and a return to simpler times. But more importantly , you will read beyond the technology and corporate hype about the true history of the Internet and Worldwide Web . With something as important as the invention of the Internet and all of the controversy about it , the truth should be known and not held back by oligarchy and racism . More about other inventions from this inventor can be found here .
Justice continues to elude this inventor ….
The inventor who alleges that her contributions to the government in her business method , Accessing Accessibility is what invented today’s INTERNET is disappointed by the Federal Appeals Court rulings in March 2013 . She says that the Internet is not the result of “magic dust” being sprinkled from Silicon Valley as the telecom networks had been in existence for 30 years before the Internet was invented . What created the Internet was the influx of businesses and consumers going “online” after a commercial environment was created in the telecom networks as a result of government employees seeing the benefits and the potential for profit as outlined in her proposals and her ideas being used to upgrade the technology by Commercializing the industry . This is what has grown an Internet that is continuing to evolve . That too being the contributions of this inventor whose idea it was to put these exchanges and interactions online to build jobs and increase commerce ( the concept of using cyberspace as a marketplace where transactions involving data , goods , and services could be carried out ). Cyberspace is potentially indefinite – so therefore millions of websites have already been built and billions of users can participate . These were ideas and concepts contributed by this inventor . Her contributions made it possible for you to be online today Consequently you have an internet that has produced a very successful industry with its own stockmarket , the NASDAQ and linking now with nations all over the world to form a worldwide web.
The Writ of Certiorari was denied by the Supreme Court without an opinion . The inventor has since filed an Extraordinary Writ with the Court as of May 21 , 2014 still hoping for justice in a very unjust situation . An industry which thrived from the changes introduced by her innovative ideas has ignored her contributions – seeking only to reward the tech side of the industry . Here is a portion of the proposals submitted by Hartman to the federal government in 1990 .
Hartman alleges that the government used her ideas to revitalize a dying telecom industry , making those already in the field rich – while ignoring her rights . The government to whom she presented her ideas which became their ideas once she presented them to their programs that fed into the National Science Foundation has consistently failed to recognize her intellectual property less more compensate her for it .This inventor requested $25,000 to $35,000 in funding to start her own business in telecommunications services . She was turned down for what was a paltry sum . However her ideas about “commercializing” an already existing telecom network and upgrading it so as to increase commerce and help the economy were as “good as gold”. The NSF which is the recipient of proposals through these federally funded government programs that are supposed to help small businesses – used the ideas to revitalize the preexisting telecom industry which in some aspects had begun phasing out .
Although her ideas about Commercialization clearly turned the industry around , making it so successful that even its own stock market has grown up around it , the NASDAQ – yet this inventor has not been shown the respect and appreciation she deserves . She has never tried to downplay the importance of technology – after all without the hardware and the software and someone to program it – nothing would work . However the strength of the industry and its success emanated from her ideas that were applied in the 1990’s causing the industry to boom and now there is a worldwide web .The technology and programming had been around since the late 1960’s but many parts of the industry had begun to phase out until Commerce was added . That made the difference .
The inventor has been not compensated a dime ! She has been supposedly legislated out of her rights without the government declaring Eminent Domain so that it does not have to compensate her – the legality of which is questionable . Her inventions not only in matters concerning the Internet but in other matters which will be addressed later in her blogs have helped billions . She has been left to suffer financial distress , defamation ( outlawed and treated like a pariah for speaking up for her own property rights ) , oppression and injustice . Nicknamed “13” because of her illness and the outright victimization of her real and intellectual property rights by the rich , powerful ,and the greedy . The inventor is fighting back through the courts because she feels as though she does not deserve this treatment and refers to actions by another set of numbers , “666” . Her gifts and talents were meant not just to help others , but herself but instead she has been treated harshly and unjustly by those who had the power to do things the right way but instead chose the easy path of racism and oppression . She is outraged about the continued injustice . To use the success and the size to which the Internet has grown as some continued excuse to deny the inventor or at the very least the co-inventor of the INTERNET who has been wronged for 23 years since its inception is a travesty .
The inventor’s proposals submitted to the government in 1990 -1991 had an impact on the industry resulting not only in the Information Superhighway later known by only one name the “INTERNET”. The impact her writings had on the industry are illustrated here in the documents at the top of the page from left to right – which illustrate the timeline for the shifts and changes in the telecommunications structure . From this emerged not only an improved version of the INTERNET but also ECOMMERCE .
These changes set in motion by the ideas and contributions of this inventor is what led to the hugely successful industry which is distinguished by having its own stock market , the Nasdaq . This kind of commercial success was not possible with the restrictive version of the internet , commonly known as the ‘ Internetting Projects ‘ and shown at the top of the page . See the 1987 INTERNET . See the Merit Networks article from April 1993 shown above which shows the Internet as we know it did not debut until 30 years after the inception of the telecom industry . Hardware , software , and programming are the structure and bones of the industry – but creativity is its flow . Bookmark this blog for an exciting view of what is going on behind the scenes of the Net Neutrality debate and more .
Although Commercialization clearly turned the industry around , making it so successful that even its own stock market has grown up around it , the NASDAQ – yet this inventor has not been compensated in any way or shown the respect and appreciation she deserves. She is hoping that a review by the Supreme Court will change this huge injustice . She has never tried to downplay the importance of technology – after all without the hardware and the software and someone to program it – nothing would work . However the strength of the industry and its success emanated from her ideas that were applied in the 1990’s causing the industry to boom and succeed financially . This has created huge success for Technology . However , Technology is only one side of it ; Creativity is the other side and justice is long overdue .
